I had the privilege to arrange for NiteCap (SATB/rhythm) Ernán’s compositions for our concert on March 1, 2013 as part of our Cap Jazz series. His deep musical sensitivity is rooted in Cuban and Afrocuban musical traditions, European classics and contemporary music. He’s just an outstanding pianist and a very nice man to work with.
